Die FPV-Google VR-007 von eachine sind alles andere als gut. Das einzig Gute an der Brille ist das geringe Gewicht und der sehr kleine Preis von rund 35€. Super für den Einsteiger…

Der integrierte Recevier hat leider kein Diversity und auch so eine unzureichende Leistung. Hier stößt man schnell an die Grenzen.

Was also tun? Ein neues Recevier-Modul von eachine (Eachine PRO58) kostet nur ca.25€ beim Asiaten um die Ecke. Das perfekte LowBudget-Upgrade. Zzgl. 10$ für eine neue, funktionierende, alternative Firmware (AchilleΣ). Der Umbau ist recht simpel: Einfach den Recevier austauschen und einen DownStepper für das neue TX-Modul vorschalten. Fertig! Der Pro58 läuft mit nur 5V, statt 7Volt, wie der bisherige.

Der Bildschirm arbeitet in diesen googles autonom, daher kann der Recevier ohne große Mühe einfach ersetzt werden. Die neue Verkabelung ist hier in den Bildern gut zu sehen.

Sollte Interesse an einer genaueren Beschreibung bestehen, schreibt es in die Kommentare. Ggf. machen wie dazu ein Tutorial.

Kurzes Update:

Mit einer kleinen Modifikation bekommt man mit dem neuen Modul auch alle Menü´s und Einstellungen direkt auf dem Hauptbildschirm angezeigt (OnScreenDisplay)!!!
Ein Tutorial findet ihr hier auf der Webseite. Hier dazu noch ein paar Eindrücke des Umbau:

Man „nehme“ ein paar SMD-Wiederstände und verstecke diese in einem Schrumpfschlauch….

 

Dann nur noch gekonnt in dem Receivermodul verstecken, neue Firmware drauf, aktivieren und fertig is das OSD AchilleΣ PLUS!
